Ballard coach Chris Renner started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Gabe Sisk, 6-3 Jr. Keno Hayden, 6-10 Jr. Maker Barr, 5-10 Sr. Chaunte Marrero, and 6-1 Jr. DJ Tilford. Trinity coach Mike Szabo countered with 6-2 Sr. Zach Stahlman, 6-2 So. Cam McClain, 6-4 Sr. Will McMillan, 6-1 Jr. Miles Franklin, and 6-2 Sr. Ethan Hodge.
Ballard defeated Trinity by the score of 79-57. Ballard shot 53.3% from the field including five of 15 from the three point line. The Bruins connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers. Trinity shot 40.4% from the field including 10 of 28 from beyond the arc. The Shamrocks connected on five of five free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.
Keno Hayden led Ballard with 18 points and three steals. Gabe Sisk added 16 points including two three point baskets, four of four free throws, seven rebounds, and three assists. Chaunte Marrero recorded 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Maker Barr recorded 12 points, 18 rebounds, and two assists.
Miles Franklin led Trinity with 18 points including four three point baskets, and two blocked shots. Zach Stahlman added 12 points including two three point baskets and three rebounds. Ethan Hodge recorded six points, six rebounds, and seven assists. Cam McClain and Will McMillan each recorded six points and five rebounds.
