Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. countered with 6-0 Jr. Camdyn Combs, 6-0 Sr. RJ Smith, 6-0 Jr. Eric Hackett, 6-0 So. Jakobe Commodore, and 5-10 So. Sam Parrish.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Tates Creek by the score of 64-43. LCA shot 52.4% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line. The Eagles connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 31.3% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Commodores connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 12 LCA turnovers.
Tyler Hall led Lexington Christian Academy with 17 points and three rebounds. Tanner Walton added 16 points including six of eight free throws, seven rebounds, and two steals. Brayden Mirus recorded 11 points including two three point baskets, and four rebounds. Jeffrey Selby chipped in with five points, five rebounds, and five assists.
RJ Smith led Tates Creek with 13 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Smith was six of six from the field and one of four from the free throw line. Eric Hackett added 10 points and five rebounds. Sam Parrish recorded seven points and five rebounds.
