Casey County coach Tara Weddle started the following lineup: 5-6 So. Madison Chansler, 5-6 Jr. Jalee Yocum, 5-7 So. Chloe Dunn, 5-3 Jr. Sadie Edwards, and 5-6 Jr. Natalie Pierce.  Madison Central coach Brad Lovely countered with 5-10 Fr. Bailey Hensley. 5-10 Sr. Raelynn Miller, 5-11 Sr. Gretchen Hammitt, 5-4 So. Eve Carter, and 5-7 So. Chloe Freeman.

 

Madison Central captured a much needed victory tonight with a 56-50 victory over Casey County.  Madison Central shot 48.9% from the field including three of nine from the three point line.  The Indians connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 23 Casey County turnovers.  Casey County shot 47.6% from the field including two of 10  from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rebels connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Madison Central turnovers.

 

Bailey Hensley led Madison Central with 22 points, four rebounds, and four steals.  Chloe Freeman added nine points on three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two assists.  5-4 8th Grade Brittany Campbell recorded eight points, two rebounds, three assists, and four steals.  5-5 Fr. Eden Carter chipped in with six points.  Eve Carter added four points, four rebounds, and four assists.

 

Chloe Dunn led Casey County with 22 points, six rebounds, and three steals.  Jalee Yocum added 13 points, five rebounds, and four steals.  Natalie Pierce recorded eight points including two three point baskets.  Madison Chansler chipped in with five points, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
