Jacksonville State University coach Rick Pietri started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Keiara Griffin, 5-11 Jr. Yamia Johnson, 6-0 Sr. Jessie Day, 5-6 Sr. Taylor Hawks, and 5-9 Sr. Kiana Johnson.  Eastern Kentucky University coach Samantha Williams countered with 5-11 Sr. Bria Bass, 5-11 Fr. Corriana Evans, 6-1 So. Anysa Jordan, 5-9 Fr. Alice Recanati, and 5-10 Jr. Kynnedy Azubike.

Jacksonville State University defeated Eastern Kentucky University by the score of 74-60.  Jacksonville State shot 44.1% from the field including four of 20 from the three point line.  The Gamecocks connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 17 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky University shot 40.7% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 12 of 13 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off nine Jacksonville State turnovers.

Taylor Hawks led a a balanced Jacksonville State scoring attack with 14 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  Keiara Griffin and Yamia Johnson each recorded 13 points and four rebounds.  Kiana Johnson added 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists.  5-5 Jr. Imari Martin chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.

Alice Recanati led Eastern Kentucky University with 14 points including five of five free throws, six rebounds, and three assists.  6-2 Sr. Jayla Johnson added 12 points.  5-10 Fr. Kendall Wingler recorded 11 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Anysa Jordan chipped in with 10 points, five rebounds, and two steals.
