Eastern Kentucky University coach AW Hamilton started the following lineup: 6-7 Fr. Michael Moreno, 6-3 Sr. Ty Taylor, 6-8 So. Tre King, 6-0 Jr. Russhard Cruickshank, and 6-2 So. Jomaru Brown.  Belmont University coach Casey Alexander countered with 6-7 GS Tyler Scanlon, 6-4 Sr. Michael Benkert, 6-11 So. Nick Muszynski, 6-2 So. Grayson Murphy, and 6-3 So. Adam Kunkel.

Belmont University took a 44-28 halftime lead on their way to an 87-56 victory over Eastern Kentucky University.  Belmont shot 47.1% from the field including eight of 29 from the three point line.  The Bruins connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 56 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 10 Eastern Kentucky turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 31.3% from the field including nine of 33 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 11 Belmont turnovers.

Nick Muszynski led Belmont University with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Adam Kunkel added 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and five assists.  6-11 Sr. Seth Adelsperger recorded 12 points and eight rebounds.  Tyler Scanlon chipped in with nine points and three assists.  6-8 So. Caleb Hollander added eight points and seven rebounds.  Grayson Murphy recorded seven points, 10 rebounds, and five assists..

Jomaru Brown led Eastern Kentucky University with 25 points including five three point baskets, five rebounds, and four assists.  Tre King added 10 points.  Russhard Cruickshank recorded eight points including two three point baskets.
