Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Maylo Given, 5-6 Jr. Jay Ballard, 5-9 Sr. Maya Jazdzewski, 5-1 Sr. Olivia Haines, and 5-3 Jr. Morgan Rakes. Whitley County coach David Estes countered with 5-10 Sr. Sierra Feltner, 5-2 Jr. Kaelie Frazier, 6-1 Jr. MacKenzie Smith, 5-2 Sr. Hannah Clear, and 5-5 Sr. Abbey Estes.
Whitley County led 34-31 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 76-62 victory over Lexington Catholic. Whitley County shot 51.3% from the field including eight of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Colonels connected on 28 of 37 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 48.8% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Whitley County turnovers.
Sierra Feltner led Whitley County with 29 points including 14 of 17 free throws, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Abbey Estes added 16 points including three three point baskets. Kaelie Frazier chipped in with 11 points.
Jay Ballard led Lexington Catholic with 27 points including four three point baskets, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Olivia Haines added 12 points including two three point baskets and four assists. 5-6 Fr. Aerial West recorded seven points, four rebounds, and three assists.
