West Jessamine coach Chris Begley started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Asia Montgomery, 5-7 Fr. Alleyse Steinkuhl, 5-10 Sr. McKenzie Ivey, 5-2 Jr. Madlynn McDonald, and 5-6 Jr. Corie Hall.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-8 Jr. Katie Witt, 5-6 Jr. Jay Ballard, 5-10 Sr. Maya Jazdzewski, 5-2 Sr. Olivia Haines, and 5-3 Jr. Morgan Rakes.

Lexington Catholic led West Jessamine 34-30 after three quarters and pulled away in the final quarter to earn a 46-33 victory.  There were six lead changes and three ties in this game.  Lexington Catholic shot 35.7% from the field including six of 18 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 21 West Jessamine turnovers.  West Jessamine shot 37.5% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Colts connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Jay Ballard led Lexington Catholic with 15 points and four assists.  Olivia Haines added 10 points including two three point baskets.  5-6 Fr. Aerial West chipped in with six points on two three point baskets.

Madlynn McDonald led West Jessamine with 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals.  Asia Montgomery added six points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Corie Hall chipped in with six points on two three point baskets.  Alleyse Steinkuhl pulled down six rebounds.
