Highlands vs. Sacred Heart Academy

Highlands coach Jaime Richey started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Lydia Graves, 5-7 Jr. Brianna Adler, 6-2 Jr. McKenzie Leigh, 5-4 Jr. Haley Coffey, and 5-6 Sr. Alex Combs.  Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 5-10 Fr. Grace Berger, 5-7 Fr. Kia Sivils, 5-10 Jr. Lydia Taylor, 5-4 Sr. Ashley Johnson, and 5-4 Sr. Gretchen Samsel.

Highland defeated Sacred Heart Academy by a score of 59-45.  Highlands shot 46.7% from the field including three of 10 from the three point line.  The Bluebirds connected on 28 of 42 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.  Sacred Heart Academy shot 32.7% from the field including four of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Valkyries connected on nine of nine free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 22 Highlands turnovers.

Brianna Adler led Highlands with 12 points and five rebounds.  McKenzie Leigh added 12 points and four rebounds.  Lydia Graves recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.  5-4 8th Grade Zoie Barth also scored 10 points.

Grace Berger led Sacred Heart with 11 points.  Ashley Johnson added nine points.
