Morgan County coach Matthew Perry started the following lineup: 6-3 Jr. Brandon Conley, 6-3 So. Ryan Adams, 6-3 Sr. Jarrad Burton, 5-10 Sr. Mikey Whisman, and 6-3 So. Jordan Perry.  Sayre coach Rob Goodman countered with 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 Sr. Martin Durmov, 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alex Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.

Sayre defeated Morgan County by a score of 46-45.  Sayre shot 38.6% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on eight of 15 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Morgan County turnovers.  Sayre held an 11-2 advantage in second effort points.  Morgan County shot 33.3% from the field including eight of 19 from beyond the arc.  They connected on three of six free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Sayre turnovers.

Quinn Pergande led Sayre with 13 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocked shots.  Justin Sanders added 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Martin Durmov chipped in with 10 points.

Jordan Perry led Morgan County with 21 points including five three point baskets.  Mikey Whisman added nine points on three three point baskets.
