Scott County defeated Tates Creek by a score of 69-58. Scott County shot 57.4% from the field including two of 11 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 19 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 46.7% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc. The Commodores connected on 14 of 21 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Scott County turnovers.
6-4 Sr. Chad Jackson led Scott County with 24 points and five steals. Jackson was nine of 11 from the field and six of 11 from the free throw line. 6-2 Sr. Ge-Lawn Guyn added 14 points and five rebounds.
