Model (14-13) vs. Lexington Christian Academy (21-6) (Girls)
Lexington Christian Academy raced out to a 23-7 first quarter lead on their way to a 69-49 victory over Model. LCA shot 50.9% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 19 Model turnovers. Model shot 30.4% from the field including three of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Patriots connected on four of eight free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 28 LCA turnovers.
5-5 So. Kelli Mitchuson led Lexington Christian Academy with 21 points including five three point baskets. Mitchuson also added four assists and four steals. 5-11 Jr. Kelli Rinehart added 18 points and 11 rebounds. 6-2 Sr. Sarah Beth Barnette recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots.
5-9 Sr. Shelby McNeely led model with 13 points and four assists. 5-10 so. Tara Hill added 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Woodford County ((16-14) vs. Scott County (20-6) (Girls)
Scott County led 27-8 after the first quarter on their way to a 72-41 victory over Woodford County. Fifteen players saw action for Scott County tonight with twelve Lady Cardinals entering the scoring column. The starters playing time ranged from 8:58 to 19:26 minutes.
Scott County shot 52.8% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 33 points off 23 Woodford County turnovers. Woodford County shot 31.7% from the field including three of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Yellowjackets connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored five points off 14 Scott County turnovers.
5-5 So. Ally Conrad led Scott County with 11 points including three three point baskets. 5-5 8th grader Audriana Christopher also scored 11 points. 5-7 Sr. Breonna McKee also reached double figures with 10 points. 5-10 Sr. Madisen Webb added nine points including two three point baskets in only 8:58 minutes. 5-9 Jr. Alex McKenzie chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Kristen Stainback dished out nine assists and recorded five steals.
5-9 Jr. Alyssa Lucas led Woodford County with nine points on three three point baskets. 5-6 Jr. Taylor Kelly added eight points and five assists.
