11th Region Tournament (Girls)

Bryan Station  (17-9)  vs.  Franklin County  (23-7)  (Girls)

Franklin County defeated Bryan Station 57-55 in overtime.  Chelsea Craig scored all six of Franklin County’s points in overtime.  Franklin County shot 33.3% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Lady Flyers connected on 15 of 17 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 20 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 42.9% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Lady Defenders connected on six of nine free throws, pulled down 36 rebounds, and scored five points off 17 Franklin County turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Chelsea Craig led Franklin County with 25 points and 10 rebounds.  5-11 Sr. Andrea Howard added 13 points and 10 rebounds.  5-6 Jr. Lacinda Hack chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets.

6-0 Sr. Alesha Prince led Bryan Station with 20 points and six rebounds.  5-8 Fr. Serena Sandusky added 10 points and 5-6 Jr. Carrington Caise chipped in with nine points.

Tates Creek  (16-12)  vs.  Madison Central  (27-1)  (Girls)

Madison Central held a decided advantage in the paint as they outscored Tates Creek 42-22 in the paint in a 63-47 victory.  Madison Central shot 42.4% from the field including zero of six from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on 13 of 20 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Tates Creek turnovers.  Tates Creek shot 34.8% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Commodores connected on 12 of 19 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 15 Madison Central turnovers.

5-10 Sr. Brislyn Sizemore led Madison Central with 16 points and nine rebounds.  5-9 Jr. Jenna Cornelison added 15 points and 12 rebounds.  5-5 Fr. Larryn Brooks also reached double figures with 10 points.

5-8 Sr. Lizza Jonas led Tates Creek with 14 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and five steals.  5-4 Fr. Oney Harrison added 11 points.
