I Don't Want to Fall Asleep Tonight I Know My Time is Drawing Near |
The
land waits for hours in the darkness, Patiently seeking its moment of joy. Then darkness ends and daylight approaches. The moon lowers to make way for the sun. The sun rises above the horizon, And sends out its radiance to the land. The world rejoices as the lands brighten, For the land is once again replenished From waiting in the dark for long hours. Suddenly all the shadows disappear, And the island gives glory to the sun. As the land begins to feel the rays warmth, The cycle of life continues once more.
