8/5 - 8/19

XPW obtained a $10,000 surety bond, a requirement for running shows in PA, listings Rob Feinstein as the address. Rob & Gabe said XPW used this bond without their permission, and they were simply giving them the number & location of where they got their license. A representative of XPW said they have applied for their own license which they should have by 8/8.

Assault Championship Wrestling released "Hippie Freak" Nick Richards & "Purty" Kurt Adonis from active duty as members of the promotion. The 2 were upset with their upcoming role in the August 10th show.

Big Time Wrestling wil be offerring free classes to those willing & dedicated to train to become a wrestler. Classes will begin September 2002, those under 18 need a signature from a parent prior to training. For more information visit: http://www.bigtimewrestling.com

Irish Whip Wrestling's first event which featured Michael Modest vs. Doug Williams will be airing on 8/10 on SPorths Monthly at 1:30pm on Network 2, it airs in the Wales & W. Great Britain.

Low-Ki is scheduled to work 9/12-9/20 for Zero-One's September tour.

Epic will be doing a benefit show to help donate their services to Messiah, who was recently brutally atatcked in his apartment by 2 unnamed assialants. The show takes place the 18th in Reseda, CA.

Carolina Championship Wrestling, run by Jason Hutto which shut down operations will be re-opening in September 8th for a memorial show for Corky Lewis, financial backer for CCW. Lewis, who Hutto considers a father figure, was recently murdered, and is why the promotion shut down.

Jeff Bradley of IPW-Hardcore will be joining Homicide for Big Japan's tour from 8/4-8/18

Cheerleader Melissa was secleted to represent Bionic J in ARISON for an upcoming All Japan women show. She was also recently ranked #1 among female workers in the U.S. in The DVDVR JOSHI 100. Melissa is currently working in Japan for 3 months.

Combat Zone Wrestling & former XPW star Messiah was beaten & stabbed in his Granada Hills, CA apartment late Thursday night by two men. They entered Messiah aka Will Welch's unlocked apartment, duct taped his hands & proceeded to chop his thumb off. As Messiah resisted them cutting his other hand off, they then dropped a fish tank on his head & tried to cut hsi other hand off, stabbing him in the lef instead, they left then & took the thumb with them. He is currently being treated at an indisclosed location. Police detective Victor Lewandoski has reported they have a description of the assailants, vehicle, license plate & a possible ID. Citing as African-Americans in their mid-20s, about 6' tall and 230-250 pounds. The supposed connection has to do with the wrestling business.

Big Time Wrestling has affiliated themselves with the Underground Battle Jam (UBJ)
Network, which focuses on Mega-Fight matches targeting matches with submissions and knockouts over pin falls, and will consist of three five-minute rounds.

New Jersey based Independent Wrestling Federation will be hosting a Charity Bowling Challenge August, 10th @ 5pm in Edison, NJ @ Brunswick Edison Bowl (1695 Oak Tree Road). Those schedule to appear include: IWF Champion Biggie Biggs, Kevin Knight, AJ Sparxx, Roman, Hadrian, and the entire IWF roster, plus students from CAMP IWF. Simon Diamond was the innagural winner last year as they raised over $1000. $20 donation for 3 games, shoes, food & a chance to meet the stars.
