Before this match got underway, Lawson addressed comments to Badd Company and Dr. Tom Rouse. He said he wanted into the group and asked what he would need to do. Dr. Rouse then came out and said he would evaluate the match and see if he was good enough. This was a classic technical match in every sense of the word. J.T. got the W with his patented Frog Splash. After J.T. left the ring, Dr. Rouse got into the ring and told him he saw some good things and he saw some bad things. Bottom line is he lost and to stop calling them.
