GLAPW NEWS:
FRANKIE THE FACE SUSPENDED FOR A SHOW!
Frankie the Face has been suspended
for one show due to his refusal to appear
at
a scheduled GLAPW show. Frankie protested
the fact that he would not get a
GLAPW title match when GLAPW champion
Amazing N8 announced that he was unable
to
defend the title due to a knee injury.
It is being debated to re-schedule
this match for another show in the
immediately future, but after Frankie’s
action, it is uncertain. More on this
later.
NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE INVADES
GLAPW:
Great Lakes Entertainment and Great
Lakes All-Pro Wrestling has just signed
a
talent trade agreement with the NWA
Great Lakes and is in negotiations with
another NWA group to sign and trade
talent. “This is a big deal for
me having
worked with the NWA in the past, knowing
of the great talent that they have”,
says promoter Bobo Brown. “We will
continue to bring in different talent
from
around the region and promote the best
shows.”
Bobo has worked with the NWA since
Southern Michigan Championship Wrestling
became a member back in 1998. Bobo worked
with Mr. Miller on developing the
promotion, and currently assist both
Miller and Dave St. Onge in some of
the
duties NWA duties now.
GLAPW WELCOMES CANADIAN IMPERIAL ALLIANCE???
At one of the wildest Rockwood shows
ever, the CIA pulls a fast one over
on Bobo
Brown and are now in GLAPW.
“I don’t know what is going
through Bobo’s mind right now”,
Robb Russell stated.
“Fury [Chris] called him on the
phone and asked for a match and apparently,
he
was sent by Libido to insure that the
CIA gained entrance”.
Fury hit Bobo with a brutal clothesline
during the match sending the promoter
down in a daze. After which, the CIA
team hit Bobo with a double stunner
and
pinned him in the ring.
“I was informed that Libido want
an official contract signing in the
middle of
the ring on the August 30th Rockwood
show”, Robb continued. “President
Matlick
is seeing that this is carried out,
and is making plans to be there to keep
the
peace”.
GRAVE DIGGER
Who is this hired hit man that the
Untouchables bought in to face Eddie
Venom?
Where did he come from? And, Why did
he target Bobo Brown? These are questions
that we want answers too.
After using a club to nail Eddie Venom
in the back of the head to win the match,
Amazing N8 came to the ring to tell
the referee and called Bobo Brown out
to
reverse the decision. “If you reverse
the decision, you are next” says
Digger
to Bobo, and if anyone knows Bobo, he
never backed down from a challenge.
Bobo
responded with “I just did, see
you next month”. After a few words,
a brief
encounter broke out between the two
in the ring with Digger running, only
to
come back after the CIA match to add
insult to injury to Bobo by clothes-lining
him and challenging him to a match.
Bobo has accepted and this will take
place
on August 30 in Rockwood.
