Companies such as Microsoft and Corel sell their windows applications as a group, called a "software suite".

Currently, the most popular of these is MS Office. The Premium version of MS Office 2000 includes the following:    

·        Word, a word processing program

·        Excel, a spreadsheet program

·        Access, a database program

·        PowerPoint, a presentation graphics program

·        FrontPage, a web publishing program

·   Publisher, a desktop publishing program

·        Outlook, a Personal Information Manager program

Programs such as Microsoft Works and Lotus Works are "integrated packages"--all-in-one packages of applications that work together and share information with each other.  These generally are not as powerful as individual programs but they do require less storage space.
