Portable Computers  

PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants):

This type of computer is a handheld device.  Also known as a palmtop computer, it may be used to keep track of appointments and notes.  It may have a special keyboard; some use a pen or stylus for entering data.

Why are portable computers generally more expensive than PCs?  Because the components that make up the computer system are more expensive.
