Music
I've become a bit too lazy to continue band information especially since there's a million other sources out there, most of them better than mine. So from here on out I'm just gonna list any albums I've found that are really worth listening to:
What I'm Listening to Right Now:
Radiohead - Hail To The Chief - No verdict yet. I miss the guitars. Where did they go? I know that guy didn't just forget how to play the guitar. Nah.
The Mars Volta - Deloused In The Comatorium - These guys are picking up where At The Drive-In left off. The album is a trip, they seem to have a concept going. Flea and John Frusciante laid down some tracks for this cd, along with the band, who is half of the expired ATDI. (You guys were supposed to save rock and roll, what the fuck happened?!)
Deftones - Deftones - I feel like they titled this one aptly. These guys have been around for a while and to me the new album sounds like a summary of how they've progressed, as well as how they started. This album is badass. Moves me to tears.
Thomas' List of Essential Albums:
Deftones - Around The Fur
Tool - Opiate
- Lateralus
System Of A Down - System Of A Down
Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine
Phish - A Live One
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon
The Crystal Method - Vegas
Incubus - Make Yourself
- Morning View
A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms: Maynard James Keenan (of Tool) in my opinion is the most amazing artist producing music these days. The guitar riffs of APC founder Billy Howerdel are equally fantastic. Listen to this album.
At The Drive-In - Relationship Of Command: The first really fresh sound I've heard in a really long time. Kinda remaniscent of Rage. Pretty chaotic stuff, check em out.
NOFX - Punk In Drublic: I know I'm a little late but I can't stop listening to this cd.
