Behind the eyes of Burton Bell (vocals) lies a dark vision of the future. He sees the United States becoming a police state, where there is no privacy and no hiding from the oppressive government. This nightmare is conveyed through the industrial hardcore stylings of his band Fear Factory. Each of FF's albums are packed with loud, heavy, and precise distortion backed by unrelenting percussion and fronted by visceral vocals. As a live show, Fear Factory delivers everything their CDs promise. I've seen the band three times, twice at the 9:30 club, and then once at last year's Ozzfest. Simply put, Fear Factory rocks better than any other live band out there.
