The Deftones are probably my favorite band. Every song is emotionally charged. Whether that charge happens to be one of passionate love, barren lonliness, or explosive anger, it's always there. Listening to either of the Deftones' CDs always amplifies whichever emotion it is I happen to be feeling at the time. Although both of the albums are great, I consider Around The Fur a must-have in any collection. I've seen the Deftones live once, at Ozzfest '99, but the show didn't live up to my expectations. They weren't bad, and I wouldn't say that they bored me, but if I had not already known the music, I would not have been impressed. Nonetheless, they're still the best and the realest.
