Seasons Greetings Yall!

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from my family and I. Let the joyous sound of the holiday ring through this year.

Love,Light & A Joyous Holiday Season!

and our "furry kids" too

I did not write the following, it was sent in one of the many e-mails I get, but I think it gives most of us something to think about...

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about the way we celebrate things. The events of the last two years in my life have really caused me to contemplate a lot. We focus so much on buying, and very little on giving from our hearts...something we need to do a lot more of. As this time of year rolls around, we need to take stock of our lives and our hearts. Examine what lies behind our motives in giving...is it out of love? Is it out of obligation?

What we give.....does it come from our hearts, or is it hurriedly jotted down on a piece of paper after scouring last minute advertisements from the newspaper or mail? Do the things we give have purpose? Will the give joy, bring a smile to someone's face, brighten their day...touch their heart........or will it be another item put back into the box and forgotten once the wrapping paper is put into the garbage and the antacids are passed around from overfilling our already well-padded bellies with too much food?

Can we sincerely say from our hearts that we give out of love or obligation? something to think about as the time for giving thanks for what we have, what we have had.....and what we are about to receive.....

God Bless you all, My Friends!

"The Secret Of Christmas"

It's not the glow you feel when snow appears,
It's not the Christmas card you've sent for years,
Not the joyful sound when sleigh bells ring,
Or the merry songs children sing.

The little things you do on Christmas Day
Will not bring back the friend you've turned away.
So may I suggest the secret of Christmas
Is not the things you do at Christmas time,
But the little things you do all year through.

The Magic of Christmas

The magic of Christmas is so many things...
A holly wreath gay and a church bell that rings,
A tree all a-glitter, a candle's soft glow
And moonlight reflected on new-fallen snow;
A kitchen's aroma of sugar and spice,
Bright packages wrapped up so pretty and nice,
Red stockings o'erflowing with candy and toys
And hung by the fireplace for good girls and boys.
The magic of Christmas is gound everywhere...
Sweet voices of carolers upon frosted air,
The jingle of sleigh bells across hill and vale,
Glad ring of the postman delivering the mail;
Good friends dropping in and the laughter so gay,
Store windows checked out in delightful display.
Dear Santa Claus chuckling his famed "Ho, ho, ho!"
And little tots whispering as Santa bends low.
The magic of Christmas is so many things...
A candlelit church and a choir that sings,
The being together with people we love,
Belief that the Christmas Star still shines above;
The caring and giving and goodwill towards men,
The Christ Child reborn in our hearts once again,
Contentment and peace and a faith strong within,
A spirit of love that makes all the world kin.
The magic of Christmas is all this and more,
May your day be merry with much joy in store
And may the bright memories and glow ne'er depart...
The magic of Christmas live on in your heart!
