Activities and Lesson Plans

Visit the pre-activity area to obtain easy lesson plans and materials to teach and review simple machines. Even if you feel your class is familiar with simple machines, the hands on-activities are developed to help children "discover" exactly how they make work easier. We have included lesson plans for teaching the six simple machines:
