Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-11 So. Tereka Guyn, 5-11 So. Iman Guy, 6-0 So. Holly Huellemeier, 5-6 So. Audriana Christopher, and 5-6 Sr. Ally Conrad.  Sayre coach Scotty Sutton countered with 6-0 Sr. Maddie Mitchell, 5-7 Sr. Emily Culbertson, 6-3 Fr. Gabby Bowie, 5-7 So. Grace Rahman, and 5-6 Sr. Sophie O’Rourke.

Scott County defeated Sayre by a score of 51-46 despite a cold shooting (28.8%) from the field.  Scott County shot 28.8% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line.  The Lady Cardinals connected on seven of 17 from the free throw line, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 34 Sayre turnovers.  Scott County attempted 38 more shots (73-35) from the field than Sayre.  Scott County held an 18-2 advantage on second chance points.  Sayre shot 42.9% from the field including one of two from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Scott county turnovers.

Tereka Guyn led Scott County with 25 points, 13 rebounds, and five steals.

Gabby Bowie recorded a triple-double for Sayre with 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 blocked shots.  Maddie Mitchell added 13 points and six rebounds.

Darrion Burns.  Lafayette coach Mike Mendenhall III countered with 6-5 Fr. Shon Wright, 6-5 Jr. Nick Trisko, 6-7 So. Jackson Davis, 6-3 Jr. Ethan Burlingham, and 5-10 So. Lance Blakely.

Fleming County led 60-40 in the third quarter but had to survive a Lafayette rally to eke out an 87-86 victory.  Fleming County shot 40.7% from the field including 10 of 26 from the three point line.  The Panthers connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scvored 43 points off 33 Lafayette turnovers.  Lafayette shot 52.2% from the field including six of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Generals connected on eight of 16 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 14 Fleming County turnovers.  Lafayette held a 35-7 advantage on second effort points.

Troy Steward led Fleming County with 24 points including four three point baskets.  Darrion Burns added 23 points and recorded 10 steals.  Travis Taylor and Brady Saunders chipped in with 16 and 10 points respectively.

Jackson Davis led Lafayette with 33 points and 14 rebounds.  Nick Trisko added 17 points and 20 rebounds.

Dashjon Brown, and 6-0 Sr. Kquan McNease.  Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Craig Floyd, 6-6 Sr. Patrick Keller, 6-8 Jr. Jack Whitman, 5-10 Jr. Dillon Avare, and 5-10 Sr. Bryan Woomer.

Lexington Catholic finally pulled away late in the third quarter to earn a 70-57 victory over UHA.  Lexington Catholic shot 46% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 18 of 21 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 23 points off 21 UHA turnovers.  UHA shot 41.5% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Blazers connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Jack Whitman led Lexington Catholic with 23 points, seven rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Bryan Woomer added 14 points and nine assists.  5-10 Sr. Rashad Bennett recorded 10 points.

Dashjon Brown led UHA with 14 points.  5-8 Sr. Jake Hopper added 12 points including three three point baskets.  Jordan Davie recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

Frankfort coach Matthew Yates started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Aaron Jackson, 6-0 Sr. Zachery Perry, 6-3 Sr. Jared Jones, 5-10 Sr. DeAnte Floyd, and 5-7 Jr. Jalen Oliver.  Woodford County coach Scott Hundley countered with 6-4 Sr. Addison Hollin, 6-2 Sr. William Starcher, 6-4 Sr. Dave Greenwell, 5-10 So. Eli Boggess, and 6-1 Sr. Rodney Gross.

Woodford County got a combined 62 points from Rodney Gross (36) and David Greenwell (26) in a 91-76 victory over Frankfort.  Woodford County raced out of the gate and led 25-14 after the first quarter.  The Jackets shot a blistering 59.3% from the field including eight of 11 from the three point line.  They were 22 of 29 from the free throw line, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 24 points off 16 Frankfort turnovers.  Frankfort shot 45.9% from the field including 10 of 23 from beyond the arc.  The Panthers connected on 10 of 17 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 29 points off 20 Woodford County turnovers.

Rodney Gross led Woodford County with 36 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.  Gross was 11 of 14 from the field and 14 of 17 from the free throw line and only recorded one turnover in 30:16 minutes.  Dave Greenwell added 26 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists.  William Starcher added 12 points including three three point baskets.

Jalen Oliver led Frankfort with 27 points including three three point baskets.  5-6 Fr. Jalen Washington added 14 points including three three point baskets.  Zachery Perry added 12 points on four three point baskets.  DeAnte Floyd recorded 10 points and six rebounds.

West Jessamine raced out to a 29-6 first quarter lead and claimed a 66-57 victory over Franklin County.  West Jessamine shot 37.8% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Colts connected on 25 of 33 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 18 Franklin County turnovers.  Franklin County shot 36.4% from the field including five of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Flyers connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 21 West Jessamine turnovers.

Chase Fain led West Jessamine with 23 points and 11 rebounds.  6-1 Sr. Heath Jackson added 14 points and Jeff Zieman recorded 12 points and six rebounds.

6-3 So. Chris Roberts led Franklin County with 14 points and 12 rebounds.  Logan Woodside added 10 points.

Pulaski County connected on 12 of 20 three point baskets in a 63-50 victory over Bryan Station.  Pulaski County shot 46.7% from the field including 12 of 20 from the three point line.  The Maroons connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 14 Bryan Station turnovers.  Bryan Station shot 23.6% from the field including four of 22 from beyod the arc.  The Defeders connected on 20 of 27 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 20 Pulaski County turnovers.

Taylor Gover led Pulaski County with 28 points including six three point baskets.  Kody Johnson added 17 points including four three point baskets and pulled down eight rebounds.  Tyler Goins recorded seven points and 11 rebounds.

Marcus Williams led Bryan Station with 21 points and nine rebounds.  Larry Morton added 12 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

Lexington Catholic was 11 of 20 from the three point line in a 60-51 victory over Anderson County.  Lexington Catholic shot 46.3% from the field including 11 of 20 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored seven points off 13 Anderson County turnovers.  Anderson County shot 32.1% from the field including two of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Bearcats connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 21 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Emily Johns led Lexington Catholic with 15 points and eight rebounds.  Octavia Wilson added 11 points including three three point baskets, pulled down five rebounds, and dished out seven assists.  Elizabeth Walton also recorded 11 points including three three point baskets.

Sydney Brown led Anderson County with 11 points.  Makenzie Cann added 10 points and eight steals and 6-0 Jr. Kali Whiteside recorded eight points and 14 rebounds.

Lexington Catholic captured a hard fought 51-48 victory over Covington Catholic tonight.  Covington Catholic had one last chance to go for the tie but was unable to get off a shot.  Lexington Catholic shot 50% on 2pt field goals and four of 14 from the three point line.  The Knights connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Covington Catholic turnovers.  Covington Catholic shot 37.8% on 2pt field goals and  three of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Jack Whitman led Lexington Catholic with 15 points and seven rebounds.  Craig Floyd added 11 points. 

Nick Fredrick led a balanced Covington Catholic attack with nine points.  Nick Ruthsatz, 6-0 Jr. Brandon Ward, and 6-4 Jr. Zack Tobler added eight points each.

Sacred Heart defeated Mercer County by a score of 52-47.  Sacred Heart shot 40.4% from the field including four of 12 from the three point line.  The Valkyries connected on 10 of 16 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 32 Mercer County turnovers.  Mercer County shot 40.6% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Titans connected on 19 of 22 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 28 Sacred Heart turnovers.

Jade Tubb led Sacred Heart with 20 points including four three point baskets.  Tubb was six of nine from the field including four of seven from beyond the arc, and four of four from the free throw line.  Raven Merriweather added 12 points, seven rebounds, and six steals.  5-6 Sr. Erica Walsh recorded 10 points and six rebounds.

Savannah Taylor led Mercer County with 16 points including eight of nine free throws.  Carli Souder, Cawood Dedman, and Catheryne Claunch added nine, eight, and eight points respectively.

Tates Creek connected on 11 of 12 free throws in the final quarter to earn a 50-46 victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay led 23-13 at halftime but Tates Creek rallied to outscore Henry Clay 20-10 in the third quarter.  Tates Creek shot 41.2% from the field including two of nine from the three point line.  The Commodores connected on 20 of 25 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 12 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 43.8% from the field including one of 10 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on three of eight free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 18 Tates Creek turnovers.

Darius Gibson led Tates Creek with 13 points including 11 of 13 from the free throw line and pulled down eight rebounds.  Braxton McFarland added 10 points and six rebounds.  Jordan Fucci recorded seven points and eight rebounds.
