Tates Creek trailed 14-13 at halftime but turned the ball over five times in the second half as George Rogers Clark rolled to a 34-13 victory.  George Rogers Clark inproves their record to 3-5 while Tates Creek falls to 3-6 for the season.  George Rogers Clark recorded nine first downs and 216 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized six times for 50 yards and lost two fumbles.  Tates Creek recorded 15 first downs and 287 yards of total offense.  The Commodores were penalized eight times for 40 yards, lost four fumbles, and had a pass intercepted.

Pokey Harris led George Roger Clark’s ground game with 196 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries.  The Cardinals did not complete a pass tonight.  C. Shoebrooks led the defense with three solo and nine assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling six yards.  D. Vancleve added five solo and three assisted tackles.  Pokey Harris recovered two fumbles and recovered one 21 yards for a touchdown.

Dennis Oxendine led Tates Creek’s ground game with 140 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries.  Eamon Nasr carried the ball five times for 42 yards.  Martell Berry completed six of 13 passes for 50 yards with one interception.  TaVon Dunn caught two passes for 36 yards.  Zach Hinds led the defense with five solo tackles and a fumble recovery.  Taylor Grimes added three solo and three assisted tackles and William Hardin chipped in with seven assisted tackles.

Henry Clay rolled over Paul L. Dunbar by a score of 49-6 to improve to 3-6 for the year.  Paul L. Dunbar’s record falls to 0-8.  Henry Clay recorded 23 first downs and 472 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized seven times for 74 yards and lost a fumble.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded 14 first downs and 222 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized four times for 37 yards, lost three fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

Davion Jackson led Henry Clay’s ground game with 225 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries.  David George carried the ball seven times for 55 yards.  Anthony Lindsey carried the ball seven times for 43 yards and three touchdowns.  Christian Todd completed six of 10 passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns.  Austin Black caught five passes for 36 yards and a touchdown.  Cole McCarty led the defense with four solo and one assisted tackles with one interception.  Charles McCarty added three solo and three assisted tackles with one fumble recovery.

Antwan Williams led Dunbar’s ground game with 76 yards on 12 carries.  Blake Martin completed eight of 17 passes for 130 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions.  Emory Thompson caught three passes for 79 yards and a touchdown.  Antwan Williams led the defense with six solo and six assisted tackles.  Isaih Olige added five solo and four assisted tackles.  Jonathan Brown recorded four solo and five assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling two yards and recovered a fumble which he returned for 37 yards.  Raheem Wright recorded two solo and nine assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a seven yard loss.

Franklin County trailed 17-14 with 6:33 remaining in the second quarter but the Flyers roared back to earn a 56-24 victory over Anderson County.  Franklin County improves to 9-0 while Anderson County falls to 6-2 for the season.  Franklin County recorded 17 first downs and 562 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized 16 times for 135 yards and lost a fumble.  Anderson County recorded 18 first downs and 379 yards of total offense.  The Bearcats were penalized 10 times for 93 yards.

Ryan Timmons led Franklin County’s ground game with 175 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries.  Chris Roberts carried the ball 12 times for 75 yards and a touchdown.  Logan Woodside completed nine of 15 passes for 207 yards and three touchdowns.  Greg Maupin caught three passes for 74 yards and a touchdown.  Chris Roberts caught three passes for 51 yards.  Josh Pedone and Jalen Jones each recorded two solo and eight assisted tackles for the defense.  James Maddox added four solo and three assisted tackles.

Ethan Kelly led Anderson County’s ground game with 155 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries.  Seth Carmichael completed 15 of 31 passes for 182 yards and two touchdowns.  B. Curtsinger caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.  Seth Carmichael led the defense with four solo and five assisted tackles.  Austin Hall added two solo and three assisted tackles.

D. Dawkins led Trinity’s ground attack with 142 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries.  G. Sauer carried the ball four times for 61 yards and two touchdowns.  T. Wright added 42 yards and a touchdown on four carries.  T. Wright completed 17 of 26 passes for 194 yards and two touchdowns.  J. Quick caught six passes for 95 yards and a touchdown.  M. Scott County wins their seventh in a row with a 48-7 victory over Henry Clay.  Henry Clay falls to 2-6 for the season.  Scott County averaged a robust seven yards per carry on 50 rushing attempts.  Scott County recorded 22 first downs and 448 yards of total offense.  The Cardinals were penalized five times for 31 yards.  Henry Clay only managed four first downs and 114 yards of total offense.  The Blue Devils were penalized eight times for 64 yards and had a pass intercepted.

Josh Walls led the Scott county ground attack with 114 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Dierrius Dumphord carried the ball 14 times for 76 yards and two touchdowns.  Kevo Edwards carried the ball nine times for 72 yards and two touchdowns.  Ben Lawler completed four of six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown.  Nick Smith caught two passes for 53 yards and a touchdown.  Scott Daniel caught two passes for 44 yards.  Jordan Kindred led the defense with three solo and three assisted tackles with 1.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling four yards.  Jervon Christopher and Josh Walls each recorded two solo and two assisted tackles.  Walls had 1.5 tackles which resulted in losses of two yards.  Jordan Sinclair recorded two solo and one assisted tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totalling nine yards.

Christian Todd led henry Clay’s ground game with 45 yards on three carries.  Christian Todd completed three of 10 passes for 31 yards with one interception.  Sammy Carter completed his only pass for 21 yards and a touchdown.  Evan Lawrence caught two passes for 33 yards and a touchdown.  Lakwon Givens led the defense with five solo and six assisted tackles.  Hagan Bradley added two solo and eight assisted tackles.  Dorian Robinson recorded four solo and three assisted tackles with 2.5 of his tackles resulting in losses totalling 11 yards.

Bryan Station scored 34 points in the second quarter on their way to a 51-16 victory over Paul L. Dunbar.  Bryan Station improves to 5-2 while Paul L. Dunbar falls to 0-7 for the season.  Bryan Station recorded 17 first downs and 458 yards of total offense.  The Defenders were penalized 13 times for 143 yards and lost a fumble.  Paul L. Dunbar recorded 16 first downs and 322 yards of total offense.  The Bulldogs were penalized 10 times for 65 yards, lost two fumbles, and had two passes intercepted.

LeDarius Jackson led Bryan Station’s ground attack with 120 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.  Ora Johnson carried the ball five times for 86 yards.  LJ Warfield added 86 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.  Ora Johnson completed six of 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.  Jaysuma Webb caught two passes for 67 yards and a touchdown.  Austin Hendron led the defense with seven solo tackles.  Everett Talbert added six solo and two assisted tackles and intercepted a pass.  Michael Morton recorded five solo and three assisted tackles.  Elijah Burdette recorded four solo and two assisted tackles, scored on a 44 yard fumble recovery, and scored on a 58 yard interception return.

Antwan Williams led Dunbar’s ground game with 124 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries.  Blake Martin carried the ball 14 times for 58 yards.  Isaih Olige added 40 yards and a touchdown on two carries.  Blake Martin completed five of 13 passes for 46 yards with two interceptions.  Darien Hardaway caught two passes for 14 yards.  Antwan Williams led the defense with five solo tackles.  Brandyn Duncan added four solo and one assisted tackles.  Raheem Wright recorded three solo and three assisted tackles.

Lexington Catholic raced out to a 41-0 first quarter lead in a 69-6 victory over Taylor County.  Lexington Catholic improves their record to 7-1 while Taylor County drops to 3-4 for the season.  Lexington Catholic recorded 10 first downs and 270 yards of total offense.  The Knights were penalized four times for 21 yards and did not suffer any turnovers.  Taylor County recorded six first downs and 142 yards of total offense.  They were penalized once for five yards and lost four fumbles.

Amoh Kumengisa led Lexington Catholic’s ground game with 32 yards on two carries.  Kairon Snowden carried the ball five times for 19 yards and two touchdowns.  Kyle Bolin completed six of eight passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns.  Justin Brownell caught two passes for 26 yards.  Casey Nash, Malik Guidry, and Mike Lynch had touchdown receptions of 38, 31, and 12 yards respectively.  Chase Boling led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles and recovered a fumble.  Chris Noll added three solo and three assisted tackles.

Cody Newton led Taylor County’s ground game with 77 yards and a touchdown on six carries.  Hunter Christie completed one of two passes for 18 yards.  Conner Fair caught one pass for 18 yards.  Dylam Bright and Cody Bast led the defense with three solo tackles each.

The laser-like accuracy of QB Logan Woodside (nine of 10 completions and four touchdowns) and the exploits of Ryan Timmons (seven touchdowns) propelled Franklin County to a 57-25 victory over Woodford County.  Franklin County improves to 8-0 and woodford County falls to 4-3 for the season.  Franklin County recorded 14 first downs and 479 yards of total offense.  The Flyers were penalized six times for 55 yards and lost three fumbles.  Woodford County recorded 16 first downs and 371 yards of total offense.  The Yellowjackets were penalized six times for 31 yards and lost a fumble.

Ryan Timmons led Franklin County’s ground game with 171 yards and four touchdowns on five carries.  Chris Roberts carried the ball seven times for 54 yards.  Logan Woodside completed nine of 10 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns.  Ryan Timmons caught five passes for 203 yards and three touchdowns.  Damani Aziz led the defense with six solo and seven assisted tackles.  Jay Brough added four solo and seven assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of nine yards.  Josh Pedrone recorded two solo and 10 assisted tackles.

Brandon Campbell led Woodford County’s ground game with 118 yards on 18 carries.  Samuel Rusher carried the ball 16 times for 98 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Rusher added 43 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.  Matt Couch completed six of 12 passes for 104 yards and a touchdown.  Michael Rusher caught four passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.  Conrad Smart led the defense with two solo and three assisted tackles.  Chad Hunter added two solo and one assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a loss of four yards.
