Anderson County improved their record to 4-0 with a 45-7 victory over Valley. Anderson County recorded 12 first downs and 334 yards of total offense. The Bearcats were penalized four times for 67 yards and lost two fumbles. Valley recorded eight first downs and 128 yards of total offense. They were penalized three times for 35 yards and lost a fumble.
Charles Collins led Anderson County’s ground game with 126 yards and three touchdowns on nine carries. Brennon Maxberry carried the ball six times for 47 yards and a touchdown. Jagger Gillis added 40 yards on five carries. Jagger Gillis completed three of five passes for 52 yards. Brennon Maxberry completed his only pass for 34 yards and a touchdown. Charles Collins caught two passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Kynan Russell returned one punt for 44 yards. Colton Cornish led the defense with five solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling eight yards. Brennon Maxberry added four solo tackles with three of his tackles resulting in losses totaling 38 yards, recorded two safeties, and scored on a 0 yard blocked punt return. Justin Wilhoit recorded three solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling nine yards. Jacon Juster recovered a fumble.
Darrell William led Valley’s ground game with 54 yards on nine carries. KJ Savage added 52 yards on four carries. Darrell William completed three of six passes for six yards. Charles Camp completed one of three passes for 32 yards. Charles Camp caught two passes for seven yards. KJ Savage caught one pass for 32 yards. Aaron Elliott returned two kickoffs for 61 yards including a long return of 41 yards. Deshion Brent led the defense with six solo tackles with two of his tackles resulting in losses totaling seven yards and recovered a fumble. Michael Aiken, KJ Savage, and Kenneth Culver each recorded three solo tackles and Culver recovered a fumble.
