Eastern Kentucky University coach Chrissy Roberts started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Shavontae Naylor, 5-10 Sr. Zee Willix, 6-3 Jr. Madison Wood, 5-5 Sr. Mariah Massengill, and 5-8 Sr. Alexus Cooper.  Tennessee State University coach Larry Joe Inman countered with 6-0 Sr. I’mani Davis, 5-10 Sr. Olivia Jones, 6-4 So. Tiana Parker, 5-5 Sr. Maxine Beard, and 5-7 Sr. Diamond Beatty.

Tennessee State outscored Eastern Kentucky University 22-11 in the third quarter on their way to a 78-64 victory.  Tennessee State shot 46.8% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line.  They connected on 16 of 23 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 17 Eastern Kentucky University turnovers.  Eastern Kentucky shot 34.4% from the field including six of 19 from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 15 Tennessee State turnovers.

5-11 Jr. Tia Wooten led Tennessee State with 19 points.  I’mani Davis added 15 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.  5-6 Sr. Tariana Carter recorded 13 points including two three point baskets.  Tiana Parker added 10 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.  Maxine Beard chipped in with six points, three rebounds, and six assists.

6-1 Sr. Jalen O’Bannon led Eastern Kentucky University with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocked shots.  Shavontae Naylor added 14 points including eight of 10 free throws, six rebounds, and two assists.  Alexus Cooper recorded 13 points including three three point baskets.  Mariah Massengill chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets.
