Pulaski County vs. Southwestern (Boys)

The third time is charmed evidently as Southwestern earned a 104-85 victory over Pulaski County after losing two previous meetings to the Maroons earlier this season.  The Wigwam was rocking tonight as Southwestern unlashed a devastating three point barrage (16 made three pointers) on their way to victory.  Southwestern shot 60% from the field including 16 of 25 from the three point line, connected on 22 of 22 free throws, and pulled down 31 rebounds.  Pulaski County shot 43.3% from the field including 11 of 27 free throws, connected on 16 of 21 free throws, and pulled down 24 rebounds.

 

6-2 Sr. Peyton Cundiff led Southwestern with 35 points including nine three point baskets and six rebounds.  5-9 Sr. Peyton Gover added 23 points including four three point baskets and seven rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Hunter Stevens recorded 22 points including 10 of 10 free throws.  6-0 Jr. Joe Floyd chipped in with 11 points.

 

5-9 Sr. Landon Powell led Pulaski County with 30 points including four three point baskets.  6-5 Jr. Steven Fitzgerald added 17 points and six rebounds.  6-0 Hagan Elmore chipped in with 12 points on four three point baskets.  6-5 Sr. Treyvon Sylvester recorded 11 points and nine rebounds.
