Franklin County coach Tony Wise started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Walker Lee, 6-1 So. Kyle Stivers, 6-5 Sr. Anthony Valentine, 5-8 So. Diablo Stewart, and 5-10 Sr. Ryan Staples. Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-6 So. Michael Moreno, 6-2 Jr. Cooper Robb, 6-5 Sr. Cooper Watts, 6-0 So. Glenn Covington, and 6-1 So. Bryce Long.
Scott County defeated Franklin County by a score of 80-47. Scott County shot 51.5% from the field including five of 19 from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 15 Franklin County turnovers. Franklin County shot 28.3% from the field including five of 16 from beyond the arc. The Flyers connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Scott County turnovers.
Michael Moreno led Scott County with 20 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Bryce Long added 17 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and two blocked shots. Cooper Watts recorded 12 points, nine rebounds, and three blocked shots. Cooper Robb chipped in with nine points and five rebounds.
Diablo Stewart led Franklin County with 23 points including five three point baskets and three assists. Anthony Valentine added nine points.
