Lexington Catholic coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 So. Jay Ballard, 5-5 So. Catey Nash, 5-7 So. Maylo Given, 5-2 Jr. Olivia Haines, and 5-5 Jr. Ashley Frebis.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Nick Runyon countered with 5-10 Sr. Autumn Herriford, 5-7 So. Cheyenne Fullwood, 5-9 Jr. Peyton Humphreys, 5-6 Jr. Mashayla Cecil, and 5-7 Jr. Anaiyah Cotton.

 

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Lexington Catholic by a score of 57-42.  Paul Laurence Dunbar shot 34.8% from the field including three of 11 from the three point line.  The Lady Bulldogs connected on six of eight free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers.  Lexington Catholic shot 33.3% from the field including seven of 17 beyond the arc.  The Lady Knights connected on seven of 14 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and did not score off six Dunbar turnovers.

 

Mashayla Cecil led Dunbar with 18 points, four rebounds, and four assists.  Anaiyah Cotton added 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists.  Autumn Herriford recorded 12 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals. 

 

Jay Ballard led Lexington Catholic with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Olivia Haines added eight points.  Ashley Frebis pulled down 10 rebounds.
