Lexington Christian Academy coach Kent Miller started the following lineup:  5-8 Fr. Grace Combs, 5-7 Jr. Sydney Weeks, 5-8 Jr. Charis Hill, 5-5 Sr. Hannah Sue Hartley, and 5-8 So. Payton Rodgers.  Lexington Catholic coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Sr. Caroline Osbourn, 5-6 So. Maya Jazdzewski, 5-9 Sr. Sarah Bonn, 5-6 Fr. Maylo Given, and 5-7 Fr. Jay Ballard.

Lexington Catholic controlled the battle of the boards tonight (50-29) in a 59-35 victory over Lexington Christian Academy.  Lexington Catholic shot 37.3% from the field including five of 14 from the three point line.  The Lady Knights connected on 16 of 26 free throws, pulled down 50 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 13 LCA turnovers.  LCA shot 18.2% from the field including four of 22 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Eagles connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 14 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Jay Ballard led Lexington Catholic with 19 points including five three point baskets.  Sarah Bonn added 12 points and eight rebounds.  Laken Pinkerman also pulled down eight rebounds.

Grace Combs and Sydney Weeks added LCA with 13 points and five rebounds each.  Payton Rodgers pulled down eight rebounds.
