Central coach Ashley Franklin started the following lineup: 5-7 So. India New, 5-6 Fr. Aurianna Burnett, 5-9 Jr. Stephonie Cole, 5-2 Jr. Thelisia Beasley Guin, and 5-5 Sr. Peyton Evans.  Assumption coach Amy Siegel countered with 5-7 Jr. Kristen Olinick, 5-7 So. Taylor Allen, 6-0 Jr. Piper Gray, 5-4 Sr. Sabrina Fusseneger, and 5-6 Jr. Jenna Calhoun.

Central defeated Assumption by a score of 68-64.  The score was tied six times and there were nine lead changes in the game.  Central shot 45.1% from the field including zero of three from the three point line.  The Lady Jackets connected on 22 of 32 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 14 Assumption turnovers.  Assumption shot 39% from the field including four of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Rockets connected on 14 of 29 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 20 Central turnovers.

Stephonie Cole led Central with 21 points and eight rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Precious Hereford added 17 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.  Peyton Evans also scored 17 points.

5-6 Fr. Ally Willis led Assumption with 27 points.  5-6 Fr. Jasmine Elder added 26 points, six rebounds, and four steals.  Piper Gray pulled down nine rebounds.
