Bullitt East vs. Butler (Girls)

Bullitt East coach Chris Stallings started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Kirstie Henn, 5-6 So. Kathleen Scott, 5-11 Jr. Raegan Williams, 5-4 Jr. Lauren Masden, and 5-4 Jr. Alyssa Peak.  Butler coach Larry Just countered with 5-10 Sr. Allison Just, 5-8 Jr. Tasia Jeffries, 5-10 Sr. Micaiah Bowden, 5-4 Jr. Breia Torrens, and 5-9 Jr. Jaelyn Penn.

 

Butler defeated Bullitt East by a score of 72-52.  Butler shot 51% from the field including seven of 14 from the three point line.  The Bearettes connected on 13 of 23 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 24 Bullitt East turnovers.  Bullitt East shot 36.2% from the field including three of 18 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Chargers connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Butler turnovers.

 

Tasia Jeffries led Butler with 21 points including three three point baskets.  Allison Just added 13 points.  Jaelyn Penn chipped in with 11 points and five rebounds.  5-8 Jr. Janna Lewis added nine points and 5-6 Jr. Terri Goodlett pulled down 10 rebounds.

 

Raegan Williams led Bullitt East with 17 points and six rebounds.  Kirstie Henn added 10 points.  5-8 Jr. Abigail Rodgers chipped in with seven points.

Butler (72) – A. Just 13, Jeffries 21, Bowden 2, Torrens 5, Penn 11, Goodlett 5, Lewis 9, Lockhart 6.
