Paris coach Terrence Brooks started the following lineup: 6-0 Jr. Ryan Davis, 5-10 So. Eric Johnson, 6-1 Sr. Demond Dorsey, 5-6 So. Marcus Ashford, and 5-7 Jr. Tayjin Cunningham.  Scott County coach Billy Hicks countered with 6-6 Fr. Michael Moreno, 5-11 Fr. Bryce Long, 6-4 Jr. Cooper Watts, 5-8 Fr. Cam Fluker, and 5-11 Sr. Clem Damron.

 

Scott County’s young Cardinals defeated Paris by a score of 83-73.  Scott County shot 48.6% from the field including seven of 16 from the three point line.  The Cardinals connected on eight of 17 free throws, pulled down 55 rebounds, and scored 30 points off 15 Paris turnovers.  Scott County held a 23-8 advantage in second chance points.  Paris shot 38.8% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc.  The Grey Hounds connected on 15 of 18 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 21 Scott County turnovers.

 

6-1 So. Cooper Robb led Scott County with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and three assists.  Michael Moreno added 19 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, three blocked shots, and three steals.  Cam Fluker and Bryce Long recorded 11 and 10 points respectively.  Cooper Watts chipped in with eight points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots.

 

Tayjin Cunningham led Paris with 20 points including two three point baskets.  Eric Johnson added 16 points including two three point baskets.  6-2 Jr. Jekobi Wells chipped in with 11 points and three steals.  6-1 Jr. Jordan Davis also reached double figures with 10 points.  Ryan Davis recorded seven points, six rebounds, and five steals.
