Paris coach Terrence Brooks started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Jawane Dumphord, 5-10 So. Jawan Dumphord, 6-2 So. Koebe Garrard, 5-8 So. James Clark, and 5-5 Sr. Julian McCann.  Sayre coach Rob Goodman countered with 6-4 Sr. Henry Wolf, 6-3 Sr. Martin Durmov. 6-6 Jr. Quinn Pergande, 6-0 So. Alex Webb, and 6-2 Sr. Justin Sanders.

Sayre led 38-12 in the third quarter and withstood a frantic rally by Paris to claim a 47-43 victory.  Sayre shot 54.8% from the field including four of six from the three point line.  The Spartans connected on only nine of 31 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 Paris turnovers.  Paris shot 30.6% from the field including four of 20 from beyond the arc.  The Greyhounds connected on nine of 19 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 24 Sayre turnovers.

Justin Sanders led Sayre with 21 points including three three point baskets and 12 rebounds.  Martin Durmov added 15 points.  Quinn Pergande pulled down seven rebounds.

6-2 Sr. Cameron Downey led Paris with 15 points and five rebounds.  Koebe Garrard added 14 points, eight rebounds, and three steals.
