Elizabethtown defeated Nelson County tonight by a score of 59-50. Elizabethtown shot 47.6% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Panthers connected on 17 of 30 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off seven Nelson County turnovers. Nelson County shot 39.5% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored six points off five Elizabethtown turnovers.
6-1 So. Erin Boley led Elizabethtown with 15 points. 6-2 Jr. Reauna Cleaver added 13 points and nine rebounds. 5-8 Jr. Darien Huff chipped in with 11 points and six steals.
5-8 Jr. Caitlin Hagan led Nelson County with 13 points including three three point baskets. 5-9 Sr. Brianna Harman added nine points and 14 rebounds. 5-6 Fr. Shila Calbert and 5-3 8th grader Marly Walls each recorded eight points.
