Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-6 Jr. Trey Grundy, 6-4 Jr. Jordan Green, 6-4 Sr. Gerrard Newby, 6-0 Jr. Teddy Ware, and 6-1 Jr. Christen Cunningham.  Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus countered with 6-4 Sr. Quan Taylor, 6-1 Sr. Daniel Parke, 6-4 Sr. Hunter Stocker, 6-1 Sr. Ken-Jah Bosley, and 6-1 Sr. Dominique Hawkins.

Madison Central led 48-45 after three quarters and pulled away in the final quarter for a 78-63 victory over Henry Clay.  The score was tied eight times and there were five lead changes.  Madison Central shot 42.3% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line.  The Indians connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 11 Henry Clay turnovers.  Henry Clay shot 37.5% from the field including two of 12 from beyond the arc.  The Blue Devils connected on 19 of 35 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 10 points off eight Madison Central turnovers.

Dominique Hawkins led Madison Central with 26 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.  Ken-Jah Bosley added 20 points including three three point baskets.  Quan Taylor recorded 14 points, 24 rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Christen Cunningham led Henry Clay with 22 points including 13 of 15 free throws, six rebounds, and four assists.  Jordan Green added 18 points and seven rebounds.  Trey Grundy chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.
