Montgomery County  vs.  Madison Central

January 3, 2013

 

Montgomery County coach Janie Robinson started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Olivia Colliver, 5-10 Jr. Schyler Tipton, 6-1 Sr. Macie Spence, 5-6 Jr. Erica Rogers, and 5-6 Sr. Keria Lockett.  Madison Central coach Robert Cooksey countered with 6-2 Sr. Ashton Feldhaus, 5-9 Sr. Heather Hinkle, 6-2 Jr. Shadae Bosley, 5-5 Jr. Bailey O’Bryan, and 5-5 Sr. Larryn Brooks.

Madison Central defeated Montgomery County by a score of 71-55.  Madison Central shot 52.8% from the field including six of 13 from the three point line.  The Lady Indians connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 14 points off six Montgomery County turnovers.  Montgomery County shot 38.6% from the field including six of 13 from beyond the arc.  The Lady Indians connected on five of five free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored 11 points off six Madison Central turnovers.

Ashton Feldhaus led Madison Central with 22 points and 12 rebounds.  Larryn Brooks added 21 points.  Bailey O’Bryan recorded 15 points.  Shadae Bosley recorded six points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Olivia Colliver led Montgomery County with 13 points and five rebounds.  Erica Rogers added 11 points.  Keria Lockett recorded 10 points and seven rebounds.  Macie Spence also scored 10 points.
