Sayre coach Scotty Sutton started the following lineup: 5-6 8^th grade Sydney Strup, 5-7 Sr. Cammie Croney-Clark, 6-3 So. Gabby Bowie, 5-6 Jr. Hadyn White, and 5-8 Jr. Holly Manella.  Madison Southern coach Summer Simmons countered with 5-10 So. Rachel Ramey, 5-9 Fr. Briana Lanham, 5-10 Sr. Hayden Westfall, 5-4 So. Kelley Freeman, and 5-6 So. Samantha Parms.

Madison Southern outscored Sayre 15-4 in the second quarter on their way to a 56-40 victory.  Madison Southern shot 32.7% from the field including nine of 27 from the three point line.  The Lady Eagles connected on 13 of 21 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 16 Sayre turnovers.  Sayre shot 28.1% from the field including three of seven from beyond the arc.  The Lady Spartans connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 20 Madison Southern turnovers.

Kelley Freeman led Madison Southern with 16 points including four three point baskets and four assists.  Samantha Parms added 12 points including three three point baskets and six rebounds.  Rachel Ramey chipped in with nine points and 10 rebounds.  Briana Lanham recorded eight points and eight rebounds.

Sydney Strup led Sayre with 13 points and seven rebounds.  Gabby Bowie added 10 points, 11 rebounds, and three blocked shots.  Holly Manella chipped in with eight points and seven rebounds.
