Christian County coach Kyle Eades started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. C.J. Cotton, 6-0 Sr. Korey Mosley, 6-5 Jr. Demarius Poindexter, 5-11 Sr. Jarvis Irby, and 6-0 Jr. Isaiah Pollard.  Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Scott Chalk countered with 6-5 Sr. E.J. Floreal, 6-2 Sr. William Gary, 6-7 Sr. Taylor King, 5-10 Sr. Mike Smith, and 6-1 Jr. Donnie Lewis.

Dunbar led 34-31 at halftime and pulled away in the second half for a 74-58 victory over Christian County.  Dunbar shot 45.2% from the field including one of 10 from the three point line.  The Bulldogs connected on 17 of 25 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 21 Christian County turnovers.  Christian County shot 38.8% from the field including one of nine from beyond the arc.  The Colonels connected on 19 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored nine points off 15 Dunbar turnovers.

William Gary led Dunbar with 20 points.  Mike Smith added 14 points and five steals.  E.J. Floreal recorded nine points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

C.J. Cotton led Christian County with 13 points.  Demarius Poindexter added 12 points.  6-2 Sr. James White recorded 10 points and five rebounds.  Jarvis Irby chipped in with nine points.
