Bold ---Back To Top
anything between and will be bold, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
neoHTML
---preview---
neoHTML
Italic ---Back To Top
anything between and will be italic, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
neoHTML
---preview---
neoHTML
Underline ---Back To Top
anything between and will be underlined, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
neoHTML
---preview---
neoHTML
Glow ---Back To Top
anything between [glow] and [/glow] will have a glow, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
[glow]neoHTML[/glow]
---preview---
basic glow
of course, there are these things called attributes that you can add to the glow tag, here are the attributes:
color -- add c=blue into the tag (you can change "blue" to what ever color you want to use, including Hexidecimal Numbers
size -- add s=5 into the tag (use any number from 1-7 .. i see some people using "9" but it doesn't make a difference as neopets will change the number to 7)
width -- add w=100 into the tag (this is a pretty useless tag unless you want to annoy people. you can change the number from 1 - 300. neopets will default it at 300 so there's really no reason to define it. If you make the number something small like 1 then as you type all your words will be on a different line. very annoying )
here's a more complicated example of the glow tag:
---neoHTML-code---
[glow c=pink s=7]neoHTML[/glow]
---preview---
neoHTML
Shadow ---Back To Top
anything between [shadow] and [/shadow] will have a shadow, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
[shadow]neoHTML[/shadow]
---preview---
basic glow
the shadow tag as the same exact attributes as the glow tag so check those out. just for the sake of redundancy, i'll show a more complex shadow..
---neoHTML-code---
[shadow c=#99CCFF s=7]neoHTML[/shadow]
---preview---
neoHTML
Font ---Back To Top
this tag is pretty useless unless you use attributes with it, so i will first explain what you can do to the tag:
color -- add c=#009966 into the tag (change #009966 to any Hexidecimal number )
size -- add s=5 into the tag (use any number from 1-5, again.. any number you put in higher than 5 will just default to 5 anyway)
face -- add f=verdana into the tag (change verdana to any 1 word font. here are some: Andy , Courier , Impact , Papyrus , Fantasy , Cursive , & Serif . Remember you must have a font installed on your computer to see it & others must have it installed on their computer to see it. -- i will be added a section for installing fonts shortly, so be patient on this aspect)
Now here is an example of the font tag & all it's attributes
---neoHTML-code---
neoHTML
---preview---
neoHTML
Quote ---Back To Top
anything between
and
will be in a quote box, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
neoHTML
---preview---
To my knowledge there aren't any cool quote attributes, however you can manipulate the way it looks by combining tags
Superscript ---Back To Top
anything between [sup] and [/sup] will be superscript, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
[sup]neoHTML[/sup]
---preview---
neoHTML
Superscript looks like a small font when you don't compare it to a normal font, but really it has a higher height then normal fonts. superscript normal font .. see the difference now? Again, no nifty attributes. To change the color of a superscript font you have to combine it with the font tag.
Subscript ---Back To Top
anything between [sub] and [/sub] will be superscript, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
[sub]neoHTML[/sub]
---preview---
neoHTML
Subscript is almost exactly like superscript, except that the height is low instead of high. Compare it to a normal sized font: subscript normal font
Center ---Back To Top
anything between and will be centered, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
neoHTML
---preview---
neoHTML
Kinda a lame example, huh? The rest will be kinda lame too, but are useful on the boards.
Line Break ---Back To Top
[br] tag forces your text go to on a new line, example:
---neoHTML-Code---
Hello[br]neoHTML[br]Goodbye
---preview---
This is a *VERY* useful tag when it comes to making s iggy pets , see how often i use it in those codes??
Paragraph ---Back To Top
[p] tag forces a new paragraph (the equivolent of pushing the "enter" button twice), example:
---neoHTML-Code---
¡Hola![p]neoHTML[p]Adios
---preview---
I hate this tag so i'll never mention it again, but you might like it and find it useful :P
So those are all the tags, try them out on the neoboards, see how they work by themselves & make sure you understand them before you go on to Combining tags
