Hey everyone.... I just want to say that I miss you all. It's been a long trip for me and
it's not even over. Right now, I'm in Vancouver. I'll probably be headin out to their
meeting this weekend. I've learned so much being away, especially at GAT. It was a great
experience. I know
that all the Chicago GAT people have a lot to bring back. We have a lot of stories to tell
and each will tell it differently. You all were constantly in my prayers the whole trip. I
found myself wondering about what was going on back home. I checked my email once in
awhile when I could which was like twice during the trip. I'm miss checkin my email....
I'm so happy to know that a lot has gone on since Seattle conference... yeah MOST
INSPIRATIONAL!!! I know there was a lot of fire to bring back to Chicago. Now with the GAT
people slowly coming back, we will have more fire to bring back. Campus base is blowing up
I heard... yeah NIU... if
you ever need people to do mission... I'm MR anytime... what's up De
Paul... hint hint... you never know... COD too... hehehe... Praise God for all that are
inspired to start it up... hey high school based could start one day... even churched
based... wow... so many vision... and I know they will one day all come true... as you can
tell, I can't wait to get back... I'm totally MR so Gerry and Manny anything you need help
with you let me know... I can go on and on... so I better STOP here... Take care and God
bless... see you all when I get back....

The Traditional Joke
The Atheist
An atheist was taking a walk thru the woods, admiring all that the accident of evolution
had created. "What majestic trees! What powerful rivers! What beautiful
animals!" he said to himself.
As he walked alongside the river he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. As he
turned to look, he saw a seven-foot grizzly charge toward him. He ran as fast as he could
up the path.
He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was gaining on him. He tried to run even
faster so terrified that tears were coming to his eyes. He looked over his shoulder again,
the bear was even closer. His heart was pounding as he tried to run faster, but he tripped
and fell on the ground. He rolled over to pick himself up and the bear was staring him in
the face - raising his paw to kill him.
He cried out "Oh, my God!" At that moment, time stopped, the bear froze, the
forest was silent, the river stopped moving. A bright light shone upon the man and a voice
came out of the heavens saying, "You deny my existence all these years, teach others
I do not exist; even credit my creation to a cosmic accident, and now you expect me to
help you out of this predicament? Am I to count you as a believer?"
The atheist, ever so proud, looked into the light and said, "It would be rather
hypocritical to ask to be a Christian after all these years, but could you make the bear a
Christian?"
"Very well," said the voice of God.
As the light went out, the river flowed, the sounds of the forest continued, the bear put
his paw down. The Grizzly then brought both paws together, bowed his head and said,
"Lord, I thank you for this food, which I am about to receive."
