Teacher Introduction
This lesson was developed in the course Teaching
with WebQuests , a course offered by the Teacher
Education Institute.
This Webquest was created for use by grades 2 and 3 to help children use research skills to learn more about penguins and their environment.
Some children may need assistance as they do this Webquest. Teachers may want to have stuffed penguins and doctors' tools available to generate excitement about the Webquest. Students will need to have a copy of the HOSPITAL CHART worksheet available so that they can record their insights and information.
