Where I've Been

I was born and raised in New Hope, Penna., but I have spent most of my life in the New York area. I spent many years as a classroom teacher, before I became a school librarian. I currently work with children in kindergarten through grade 2. We have a great time in the library.

My Life as an Educator

I love to read, and I love to share books with children, especially young children. We have a very busy time in the library. We play games; we cook; we have contests, and we learn about the library pets. I try to encourage the children to love being in the library as much as I do.

When I'm Not Working...

I love to read, and I'm always reading something new. I'll read anything- mysteries, biographies, history, realistic fiction, etc. I always enjoy a good dog story. I stop reading long enough to enjoy cooking, snowshoeing, and listening to music.
