Lesson 4: Information About Your Self

After reading this chapter you should be able to:

  • Discuss how self-information can help you make more satisfying occupational decisions.

  • Name and describe the three types of self-information.

  • Describe how interests, aptitudes, and work values are measured.

  • Explain how interests, aptitudes, and work values may be similar or different.

  • Illustrate how interests, aptitudes, and work values may be expressed outside of one's job.

  1. Read Chapter 13 pages 166 - 175

  2. Answer questions #1-10 on page 176
