After reading this chapter you should be able to:

Discuss instances in which an organized
decision-making process is needed.

List and summarize each step in the
decision-making process.

Identify and describe different
decision-making styles.

Discuss the need to accept responsibility
for career planning

Explain how previous decisions, environment
and experience, and real-world restrictions influence decision-making.
Lesson 3 Assigned Tasks:
1. Read Chapter 12 pages 154 - 163
2. Answer questions #1-10 on page 164
You will need to type this assignment, save it, then attach it to an e-mail and
send it to me.
Answers must be in complete sentences and should be almost
word-for-word from the book.

3. Activity:
Write a paper discussing the 5-step decision-making process and how it applies
to getting a job.
View the slide show. Check out the
writing rubric to see how you will be graded.
