The Early Years

I was born, Alan John Rolfe at the Mercy Hospital, Melbourne, Victoria, a lot of years ago. A few days after birth, I was adopted by Gerald and Catherine Dwyer of Camberwell, Victoria. On adoption, my name was changed to Terry Dwyer.

I grew up in and around the Camberwell district, along with my adopted sister Mary and adopted brother Peter.
I started riding horses at the age of four, and continued at Mc Coll's riding school North Balwyn for many years.

I attended the following schools. All in Victoria, Australia.
Our Lady Of Victories, Camberwell.
St Bede's Mentone.
Marcellin College Surrey Hills.
Rupertswood College, Sunbury.
Salesian College Oakleigh.
