Exercise 11

A booking is received from Mrs. Wainwright for a group of ten adults. Six want to go cross-country racing and the remainder want to follow a cross-country trail around the area. They require group insurance. Further details of bikes in stock can be found on the company website.

1. Using your spreadsheet BOOKING, complete a booking form for this group.

2. Choose suitable bikes for the party.

3. Include one map for the race and one for the trail.

4. Include suitable safety equipment for the riders.

5. Save the booking form as WAINWRIGHT.

6. Print a copy of the booking form for Mrs Wainwright on one A4 sheet.

7. Label the printout WAINWRIGHT.

Joanne needs a pie chart to show the daily profit (in £) for bikes only.

1. Open spreadsheet PROFIT.

2. Produce a pie chart clearly showing these profits.  Create the chart in the spreadsheet.

3. Move and resize the chart so everything fits.

4. Save the chart and spreadsheet.

5. Place the title Smarts Booking Sheet in a header and put your name form and center number in the footer.

6. Print your spreadsheet and chart.  Make sure it fits on one A4 sheet and shows all formulas and functions.
