Introduction

Congratulations on your purchase of the SeaPen DryDoc Drive-in floating Dock.  We appreciate your choosing this dock to meet your boat maintenance needs.

The SeaPen DryDoc offers excellent protection for your boat hull with the convenience of compact size, portability and ease of use.

We hope you will be satisfied with this advanced floating dock technology. This manual introduces you to the components of your dock as well as the operation, options and maintenance tips.

Components

This section summarises the component features and benefits of your new Floating dock in order to help you get the most out of it.

 Rope matt liner

Made from UV stabilised synthetic rope which delivers durability and quality. This rope matt is ideally suited for use in the harsh marine environment and is tough and strong enough to wrap around keels, rudders and propellers without damage.

The rope matt is stitched together at both ends and along the bottom and is supported on lugs in the flexible envelope by means of cable ties.

This rope matt component requires no maintenance.

Ballast

To ensure the dock functions correctly hot dipped galvanised chain is used as ballast along the bottom of the rope matt. A rope tether is attached to each end of the chain which is tied off to the top ends of the rope matt for easy removal.

This galvanised chain component requires little maintenance.

Flexible outer envelope

State of the art technology sets new standards in marine maintenance with this UV stabilised synthetic material.  Especially selected for its ability to inhibit barnacle growth and gives new meaning to maintenance free.

This flexible outer envelope incorporates an inflatable deployment collar and a membrane barrier to the surrounding water, has lugs to support the rope matt on the inside and lugs for attachment to a stabilising frame on the outside.

This flexible outer envelope requires no maintenance.
