Average Lifespan: 80 sols
Maximum Life Expectancy: 120 sols
Time taken to reach maturity: 15-18 sols

Genetic cross reference: Carbon based life form of the primary humanoid band
Physiology: A humanoid species (naturally!) that stands around five and a half to six and a half feet tall on average an measure about one and a half foot across their shoulders. They walk upright on two legs that end in a clumsy five digits. They also possess two arms which also end in five digits each that can be used to grip and manipulate objects.
Humans have two ears with in which lie their ability to hear and their balance co-ordinator (the inner ear). The possess an average sense of smell, though this is easily confused and a sufficient sense of taste. Their vocal cord system is fairly adaptable. Humans can see in the normal light spectrum with their two eyes which comprise of an pupil, an iris and a white. The pupil is always black but the large iris can vary in colour from green, brown or blue, with a few subtle variations from there (like hints of yellow or grey).
The Human species breath in oxygen which is effectively converted into carbon dioxide from their twin lung system. This oxygen is pumped to all the vital organs via a single heart located in the centre of the cheast, leaning towards the left side of their frame.
Their bodies are covered from top to bottom with a fine layer of hair except on the palms of their hands, soles of their feet, front of their neck and their cheeks. Hair is thicker on top of the skull in particular and around the genitals and armpits. Males can also grow a thick covering of hair around the mouth and chin. The colour of this hair varies through shades of blonde upto black, though red or ginger coloured hair is also well known.
Human skin tone varies from a pale white upto a very deep black and this is part way responsible to a combination of genetics and enviromental conditions (white skin tends to darken in bright UV light sources such as most stars give off).
Humans reproduce via sexual intercourse and the female of the species carries the developing child for a gestation period of nine months. Births usually produce only one child, though sometimes twins or more can be produced. It takes the average human child around 15-18 sols to fully mature.
Females tend to develop quicker than males and also tend to live slightly longer. They are more slender and shorter on average than their male counterparts who tend to be more bulkier and muscular. Males tend to be more volatile than females who prefer subtler methods, except for once every 28 days during their gestation cycle when they enter a phase called Pre-Menstal Tension (PMT). This typically lasts a couple of days and during which time females can be as volatile, if not more so, than the males of the race as their body disguards a useless womb.
Humans generally live for around 80 sols on average, though some have been known to live upto 120 sols naturally. As Humans get older, their skin wrinkles and their hair turns grey. Old age also brings a dramatic decrease in energy and memory ability.
As a species, Humans are intelligent and igenious, quick to learn and even quicker to pick themselves up when they fail. Fast to adapt to new circumstances, they can be very artistic and emoitional at times. Human organs are simple and easy to replace if the loss of one occurs, new organs being easy to construct and made to take to the human body.
History: Humans have, along beside the Elayans, been one of the main drives in the galaxy. They have led nations, taking them to both war and peace and are possibly one of the most numerous species in the galaxy, though they do not make up the majority of senitient races (Humans account for about twenty percent of C69's population).
Humans sometimes get looked at by other races as being a little arrogant. After all, here's a species that can be found within every nation and because of their simalarity to Elayans, the two species often get considered to be trying to Humanise / Elayanise the galaxy, taking away some of the native races culture in the process. Though this is partially justified, a lot of Humans have shown some remarkable displays of open mindedness through the millenia.
Humans within the Nations:
Cyran Dor: In a nation of war and violence, the Humans here learn to defend themselves at an early age. Violent by instinct while trying to be good natured is a typical Cyran Dor Human. The Humans here are as responsible for Cyran Dor's violent reputation as much as any other race. On the other hand, Humans are also just as responsible for keeping the nation under some sort of control.
Delta Feareo: Humans in Delta Feareo co-exist with their fellow races extremely well. Open minded most of the time, Humans are part responsible for the huge corporations that have been constructed with the confines of the nation and are in many senses the glue of the nation.
Kyraken: Though largely out numbered by the Baolest here, they work well with the more numerous species in the development of the many Kyraken technologies and their manufacture. Scientists for the most part, few Humans in Kyraken tend to join the Dalgora on the battle field, though those that do can end up making quite a name for themselves.
Lafe: Humans for the most part are responsible for some of the most outrageous and controversial mutant experiments to have been undertaken in Lafe. Yet, on the flip side of the coin, Humans also tend to be the most passionate members of the ethics commitees and God help the poor mutant who stands in the way of a determined Human Mutant Hunter.
Planica / Plantia: Humans in the Planica / Plantia Empire make up the average every day joes as workers and soliders under the rule of the Mistelareia Lords, though their are one or two Humans who have ideas of changing that situation.
Requis: Humans are the artisans of Requis, their igenuity producing some of the finest pieces of art to date, their imagination and creativity allowed to be freed in Requis. Humans will also push themselves deeper into indulging their senses than any other race in Requis.
Resbinarge: These days, Humans here perform the vast amount of duties required to repair the nation after it's millenia's of warring against Delta Feareo. Once the Imperial Rulers of the nation, Humans are now the ones working the hardest to restore the nation to a better state and trying to atone for it's sins.
Resque: The Humans here are mainly scientists with keen minds to delve into any mystery presented to them. They are equally as responsible for Resque highly developed scientific state as any other race within Resque.
Independant Alliance: Considering the large numbers of Humans in the Independant Alliance, it is no wonder that other nations often dub the IA as being 'Humans, Elayans and Friends.' Still, Humans are still largely responsible for holding the nation together in times of trouble.
League of Independance: The Humans number very few in the the League, but those who do belong to the League are often associated with ambassadorial and diplomatic duties. It's possibly thanks to Humans that the Leagues borders have got as wide as they are.
Neutrality Alliance: The Humans here are not the largest fraction of the races belonging to the Alliance and so tend to have just as much say as anyone else. Many Humans from outside of the Neutrality Alliance consider these humans to have rolled over far to easily for the Alliance to scratch their bellies, but the humans of the Alliance deny the implications of being underdogs, stating that the NA is the fairest nation to all races.
Independants: A number of colonies have been formed by either Humans on their own or Humans mixed with other races. Views, cultures and attitudes vary greatly.
Human Crossbreeds:
Elaman: (Human - Elayan) Humans and Elayans cross breed quite easily, resulting in an Elaman that appears simalar to either one of the parent races but with traits of the other (i.e. looks like a human but has Elayan coloured iris's for example). Their life spans and rate to mature varies from Elaman to Elaman.
Mistelareia: Though Humans and Mistelareia can cross breed naturally, the result is nearly always a complete Mistelareia or complete Human, though sometimes one races trait will cross over in the offspring. On rare occasions, the result can turn out be a twisted parody, with misformed wings.
Huells: (Human - Efell) Humans and Efell can cross breed very readily, though it does not happen often due to the Efell nature. The offspring, a Huell, typically has either a lighter covering of fur than an Efell, or no fur but the Efell coloured skin. Others look like Efell but of different colouration as Human hair genetics get in the way (they end up coloured red, blonde or black). Their feet end up typically at a half way stage between the two races while the Efell twin tales may be present, or just one or even none.
